FOR SOUTH CAROLINA USERS: The South Carolina ServSafe Alcohol Online Course and Exam offers a comprehensive, four-hour training experience that uses interactive exercises, videos, and role-play to prepare participants for real-world scenarios. Designed for flexibility, the course features a bookmarking tool so you can learn at your own pace, though you must complete the training within 90 days of starting (and within one year of purchase, as all sales are final). To meet state requirements, the exam includes online proctoring via the Guardian Browser from Meazure Learning. To test, simply launch the Guardian Browser, log in to your ServSafe account—where your exam code should automatically appear or can be manually entered if provided by an employer—and complete the session, which will be recorded and reviewed by a proctor. Once you have passed, please allow seven days for your data to be processed before visiting the South Carolina Department of Revenue website to obtain your official ABL Server License.
FOR TENNESSEE USERS: Completing your Tennessee ServSafe certification is a simple process, but it does require an extra step for state compliance.
First, please secure an RLPS ID number through the TABC portal. For a walkthrough of that process, click here. After you’ve passed your exam, send a quick email to programcompliance@restaurant.org including your ID number and class details (date, time, and city or employer). We will then handle the final submission to the TABC for you!
