HRBUniversal Proctored Exam Retest Policy

/ HRBUniversal Proctored Exam Retest Policy

An examinee may take the exam twice within a 30-day period but must wait two weeks before a second attempt is made, if necessary.  If three or more attempts are required, the examinee must wait at least 60 days from their last attempt. No more than four attempts are allowed in a 12-month period.

Not passing the exam is the only legitimate reason to retest.

Pass Guarantee: HRBUniversal does not guarantee any passing grade on any examination. If the class attendee does not pass the exam they may retest at a discounted price if these conditions are met:

Food Manager Exam (ServSafe®, NRFSP, Prometric or 360Training.com)

  • Discounted re-test are only for people that have attended HRBUniversal training & exam sessions. Online training, self-study or exam only option do not qualify for the discount.
  • Must register for classroom training, proctored exam & book prior to class registration cut off (7 Business Days).
  • Must complete Diagnostic Test prior to classroom training session and bring to classroom training session.
  • Must request the re-test with 6 months of original training date.
  • Can attend the classroom training session for free and re-test for 50% of the exam proctor fee only one time.
  • All discounted retest are given at classroom training & & exam sessions only.

Other Proctored Exams (Food Handler, Alcohol Seller Server, HACCP, Culinary, ManagerFirst, FMP)

  • Must register for classroom training, proctored exam & book prior to class registration cut off (7 Business Days).
  • Discounted re-test are only for people that have attended HRBUniversal classroom training & exam sessions. Online training, self-study or exam only option do not qualify for the discount.
  • Must request the re-test with 6 months of original training date.

Request a Discounted Retest:   If the above conditions are met you can request a discounted retest at the form to the right of the screen. You will receive a 50% Discount on your re-test and able to attend the training session for free.  Re-Test are only given at classroom training & exam sessions. Discounted retest request will not be taken over the phone, text or chat.
