  • Food Code Requirement: As of 9/1/2012 a full time manager must have completed the food service sanitation program approved by the department within the past 3 years. At least one certified manager must be present at all hours of operation. If during inspection there isn’t a certified manager the establishment will lose 2 points on health inspection course.
  • Class & Exam Type: Online & Classroom Training and Exams are excepted to meet Alabama Food Code Requirement.
  • Certificate Renewal:  Valid for 5 years and must present original certificate.  Photo copies are not accepted.
  • Instructor Requirements: Certification courses must be taught by a local environmental health specialist or a food and nutrition health specialist. (registered ServSafe instructor or equivalent).
  • Current Scheduled Classes: Private Classes of 6 or more are valuable 7 days a week upon request.  Email us for more details.


  • Alcohol Seller/Server Requirement: Training is voluntary state wide.  City or county may have requirements.
  • Class & Exam Type: Classroom Training and Exams are excepted in North Carolina.
  • Certificate Renewal:  Valid for 3 years and must present original certificate.  Photo copies are not accepted.
  • Instructor Requirements: Registered ServSafe Instructor & Proctor.
  • Current Scheduled Classes: Private Classes of 10 or more are valuable 7 days a week upon request.  Email us for more details.
