5:00 pm – Exam will be administered. Once the exam starts no one will be allowed in the exam room. Most people take 45 minutes to 1 hour to take the exam but you do have up to 2 hours to complete.
No Show Attendance:
If you fail to attend the class and/or exam session that you have been scheduled for there will be a $60 rescheduling fee for the next class/exam session in your area. No refunds are given for not attending your scheduled session.
All examines must have a valid ID in order to take an ANSI/CFP exam. Exam will not be administered without a valid ID.
ServSafe Food Manager Books:
If you have chosen to have you books shipped to you prior to class please bring it and the scantron/exam access code to class with you. The exam can not be given without it.
All examines must have a unique email address the day of classroom training or exam for scantron answer sheet or access to computer exam on ServSafe.com. Also an email address will be need to access your score and ServSafe certificate on ServSafe.com.
Training & Exam Prep:
Prior to the class please take time to look over the material we have listed online to help you prepare for the training & exam. The 8 hour training course is a review of the ServSafe Manager Book and preparing.
This is the same materials that were sent out with your registration via email confirmation. So if you have already downloaded you do not need to do that again. Please just click on the link to download/view.
MOBILE APP VERSION – You can download the “WeGoHRB” App in the Apple iTunes or Google Play store to view this information on your smartphone or tablet. Just search for “WeGoHRB”. This is a free download.
You will need to reference the contact person registration email for Username & Password to access the PDF Version of study materials. This email was sent the day that registration was made.
Please bring the ServSafe Diagnostic Test to the classroom training session completed. This must be completed prior to the classroom training session in order to qualify for a discounted retest at scheduled training & exam sessions conducted by HRBUniversal.
Food & Beverages:
Everyone is on their own for lunch. Lunch break will start around 1:00 pm for 45-60 minutes depending on progress in the class
Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices:
Mobile phones & electronic devices are not allowed to be used during classroom training or exam sessions. All mobile phones must be put on silent and bluetooth earpieces must be removed. Mobile phones & electronic devices may be used on classroom training breaks.
If mobile phones & electronic devices are used during the training session you will be disqualified for a discounted retest price automatically.
Smoking & Vaping:
All classroom training & exam sessions are smoke and vape free. Smoking & vaping can be conducted on classroom training breaks in accordance city/county/state ordinances.
Classroom Training & Exam:
Books are shipped to all private classes once the invoice is paid for the class. All class participants must bring their book with answer sheet to class & exam session. No one can attend the class & exam session without the book with answer sheet.
If you have chosen to take classroom training & computer exam when registering. You must bring your laptop with WiFi access to connect to the internet. Before class please create an account at ServSafe.com prior to exam date. Make sure you write down the user id and password and bring with you.
Also make sure your computer operating system & anti-virus software is updated before exam time. No extra exam time will be given if you have technical issues or computer is not functioning properly.
If you have chosen to take an exam other than English language you may use a paper dictionary from your language to English. The proctor will inspect the dictionary prior to exam session.
